Chicken Pillows

~Can of 8 Crescent Rolls

~8 oz block of cream cheese

~1/4 cup butter

~2-3 cups shredded chicken

~1 egg

~Saltine Crackers, crushed (or Ritz or Club)

Topping:

~can Cream of Chicken

~sour cream

~milk

~shredded cheese (I used Mozzarella and Cheddar)

Soften butter and cream cheese. Then stir to smooth consistency. Add chicken. Lay out crescent rolls on cookie sheet. Stretch out crescents and add a couple spoon fulls of chicken mixture to each one. Fold crescent over mixture so none of mixture is showing. (this is called the pillow) Beat egg in a bowl, then dip each crescent in egg and then into crushed crackers. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 mins. Mix cream of chicken with milk in saucepan. Add however much milk you want to get the consistency you like. When warm enough mix with 2 spoonfuls of sour cream. Pour over pillows. Then top with cheese.

These were Excellent! One of my favorite "new recipes" I've made so far!
